2008 Events Schedule
The rough running order, for those of you new to Gnosis, please feel free to use this to get a favour. There are still a few details to be finalised & if anyone has any issues, sure we can sort things out... Please feel free to comment.
Introduction to Cybalism
We're pleased to confirm the first guest workshop for Gnosis 2008.
Jim Coleman, author of "The Book of Cybalism" due for release next year, brings Cybalism to Gnosis for the first time. Combining Science with Spirituality, and with similarities to the 2,500 year old philosophy of Taoism, Cybalism presents a new view of the Universal Truth. By applying the five virtues of Balance, Truth, Flow, Control and Simplicity, Cybalism shows how you can achieve perfect well-being and calmness of the body, mind and spirit.
The Gnostic Mass Temple
We've been scratching around for a decent picture of our Gnostic Mass Temple for ages, and we've finally found one! Here we see the shining splendour of the High Altar, set in Featherstone Castle's magnificent Blue Room.
One Million Photos of the British Isles
The Geograph British Isles project "aims to collect geographically representative photographs and information for every square kilometre of Great Britain and Ireland". It's a volunteer project to create a freely-licensed historical and educational resource, and they've just passed the impressive milestone of a cool one million photographs.
Guess what? There's a few photos relating to our favourite Northumbrian castle.
